The qualification reflects the role of individuals who work within a pre-determined marketing area and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. This course is for people desiring to work in Marketing Management positions in a broad range of industries. People in Marketing Management positions are usually responsible for managing the work of others and are responsible for implementing and reviewing marketing practices to achieve organizational objectives.

Students will learn specialist marketing management skills such as identifying and evaluating marketing opportunities, planning market research, establishing and adjusting the marketing mix, implementing and monitoring marketing activities and interpreting marketing trends. In addition to this, students will learn advertising competencies and essential financial competencies to be able to operate effectively in Marketing Management positions.

The course is most suited for individuals who are currently or are aspiring to be Marketing Team Leaders, Marketing Managers or Product Managers in small, medium or large firms in both the public and private sector.
