This course is for people desiring to work in senior management positions in small to large organizations, in a broad range of industries. People in senior management positions are usually responsible for managing the work of others and reviewing management practices. Where they are not responsible for managing the work of others, they usually have specialized roles and are required to provide strategic leadership. Students will learn a broad range of senior management competencies such as managing finances, managing organizational change, providing leadership, developing and implementing strategic plans, developing systematic approaches to managing OH&S, as well as learn key skills in developing marketing and business plans.

This course is for people who want to work in men’s or women’s hairdressing. Students will learn how to apply temporary hair colour, braiding and other skills required to perform competently as a salon assistant. Students will also learn about client communication and retail service, which includes discussing the needs of clients and styling according to their needs. This course, commonly referred to as RCG, is aimed at people wishing to work in licensed gaming venues at registered clubs and hotels in NSW. Students will learn how to minimise harm from gambling, using discretion, judgement and teamwork as well as develop a positive attitude to the responsible conduct of gambling in the hospitality industry. Employees associated with gambling activities in registered clubs and hotels are required to undertake this course under the NSW Gaming Machines Regulations.
